Okay...I have Countdown to Destruction Pt.1 and 2 on the computer as a file but when I compress it with VirtualDub the audio is perfect but the video just won't show ! Does anybody that knows how to help me fix this problem please email me at Tkdgirl555@msn.com or Tkdgirl555@aol.com .... If by chance it works (meaning the video starts to show )I'll compress it and post it up for you guys to watch. ~*Tkdgirl555*~

The ORIGINAL format of the file before I opened Virtual Dub is .Dat Format. When I opened it with Virtual Dub it was still in .Dat format. But when I saved it under AVI format the audio worked well but the video just didn't show... Do you know what is wrong with the video?

I asked you whether or not you let VirtualDub parse the DAT file when you open it (before you go to compress it). A window should pop up saying "parsing interleaved MPEG file", or something like that. You need to let it do that (should take a few minutes) for the video to show up at all...
